Call to Action!

Rhino horn, is not medicine...

Rhino horn, is not medicine…

My dear friends and rhino lovers.

This is a call to action!

Most of you know my plan for this year :

1: to recover my health and beat my cancer – once and for all

2: to do all in my power to help the survival of rhinos

Now I am asking you from the bottom of my heart and soul to make a stand by supporting my cause. If you liked, have commented, seen my posts and support my goals, if you are serious about doing something incredibly important for your children and beyond, if you have ever thought “What can I do?” , now is your opportunity to get behind me and donate.

I want to raise $10,000 before the start of my walk on April the 30th and at least $50,000 by the end. There is a about $2,000 already pledged – and to those people I thank you deeply.  I can only do so much and I will need every one of you to help.  The donate page is clear on my website.   When you have donated, continue the conversation with at least 10 people who you can educate about the plight of the rhinos and get them involved in supporting my cause.

In the entire decade 2000-2009 only 325 rhinos were killed. The latest numbers are frightening…  In the first 100 days of 2013 there have been at least 227 rhinos slaughtered!   At this rate over 800 may be killed this year, surpassing last year’s disturbing and sad record of 668.

At this rate, there is only a limited amount of time left and when they’re gone, they’re gone forever.   We are the generation responsible to make a stand and STOP this beautiful, strong, gentle giant from becoming extinct.    Help us stop the demand and stop the poachers.
